Mr. Michael C. Grochol currently serves as a Principal and Senior Partner for ISPA Technology, a professional services company that specializes in Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) projects supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Since joining ISPA in 2014 Mr. Grochol has grown the company by over 40% in annual revenues and over 50% in total employees. Additionally Mr. Grochol has opened two addition markets to ISPA Technology and lead development and solution activities across multiple verticals to include the Navy, Air Force and Combatant Commands. Lastly, Mr. Grochol serves as a Full Motion Video and ISR Subject Matter Expert supporting a combatant command as they advance their capabilities to support units around the world.
Prior to joining ISPA, Mr. Grochol served as the Senior Intelligence Analyst and Director of Combatant Commands for TransVoyant LLC (formerly ObjectFX). Over two years of time Mr. Grochol started the Combatant Command program in 2012 and grew this line of business to over $2M in annual revenue in under six months. While at TransVoyant, Mr. Grochol led efforts to source, capture and win a $49M single award IDIQ supporting the US Marine Corps’ deployed intelligence analysis capabilities for Central Command.
Prior to TransVoyant, Mr. Grochol worked as a sensor operator and mission commander for AirScan LLC where he provided direct support to US Military Forces as they conducted operations throughout the Middle East. Military commanders in Iraq highlighted this effort when operations run by Mr. Grochol resulted in the dismantling of a terrorist cell that was responsible for consistent indirect fire attacks on a forward operating base south of Baghdad.
Mr. Grochol’s career began in 2003 when he enlisted in the US Air Force at the age of 17. During his time in the Air Force Mr. Grochol was a combat mission ready aircrew member on the E-3B Sentry AWACS where he served as a surveillance technician and a combat mission ready member on the AC-130U Gunship as a sensor operator, where he flew over 100 combat missions and accrued over 1500 flight hours supporting Special Operations Missions in Iraq and other theatres of deployment. His decorations for flight in combat included four Air Medals, one Aerial Achievement Medal and a Combat Action Medal. He separated from the Air Force in 2010 as a Staff Sergeant.
