As always, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be provided.

Spring Cleaning
April 18
9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Join the YPG on Saturday, April 14, in the Northern Virginia area for the 24th annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup. As one of our initiatives, the YPG is always looking for ways to give back to the communities.

Through a suggestion by YPG member Kim Hanson, MDA Information Systems Inc., the YPG is looking for volunteers to cleanup trash and debris to make our community even more beautiful. Find out why it’s so important to keep our community trash-free.

Only three hours of your time is needed for the cleanup. Volunteers should bring their own gloves and read over these guidelines on what else to expect.

The Potomac River Watershed Cleanup project was created through the Trash Free Potomac Watershed Initiative (TFPWI). Founded in 2005, TFPWI is a program of the Alice Ferguson Foundation whose goal is to reduce trash and increase awareness of trash issues in the Watershed.

If this is something you are interested in volunteering for, please email ypg@usgif.org and we’ll make sure to get you signed up.
