The theme for this year’s NGA Tech Showcase East is EnVISION the Possibilities. Based on this theme, NGA will have several demos highlighting some of the new apps and on-demand tools the Agency has been developing.

Last year’s event had four themes: Online-On Demand GEOINT access, anticipatory analysis, strengthening partnerships and transformational GEOINT. Approximately 40 exhibits from across the agency showcased products, services and activities contributing to NGA’s role in supporting the warfighter, responding to natural and man-made disasters, assisting in humanitarian relief efforts and providing for homeland security.

NGA’s solutions include real-time common operational pictures of information used to describe, assess and depict physical features and geographically referenced activities. It has developed and implemented technology advancements to support new missions in situational awareness, consequence management, force protection, counterterrorism and security planning.
