Geocomputational Breakout Breakfast

Hear a discussion on GEOINT data challenges and data science initiatives supporting analysis that will drive High-Performance Computing (HPC). The event begins at 8:30 a.m. with check-in, and discussions will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

On the day before the breakfast, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and NGA will present a Geocomputation Summit limited to mostly government attendees. The Geocomputation framework focuses on current and future NGA challenges and aims to showcase HPC as a game-changing capability with tremendous implications for economic competitiveness, scientific leadership, and national security. Though the Feb. 14 event is private, USGIF is offering an opportunity to meet with some of the summit’s speakers and NGA seniors during the Feb. 15 breakfast to discuss the proceedings, ask questions, and offer solutions.
