TASC’s Ground Systems Division is looking for a senior-level Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering support that includes performing a broad range of services such as requirements management, strategic planning, system verification and test in GeoINT Command and Control development and upgrades. This position supports a fast paced office in developing and transitions high-availability GeoINT Command and Control developments and upgrades. The successful candidate will provide critical systems engineering functions supporting acquisition, deployment, sustainment, and enhancement of GeoInt Command and Control capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, other engineering discipline or related field; or 14+ years experience in Systems Engineering or related field
Solid technical understanding of GeoINT Command and Control
Strong current or former Geospatial Intelligence Systems operation, acquisition, or systems engineering experience
Measurable experience with GeoINT Collection systems and associated ground components
Experience with geospatial technologies
Experience evaluating requirements against conops for impacts to current system or systems under development
Understanding of Systems Engineering lifecycle and acquisition processes, — requirements management and RFC processes, strategic planning, integrated verification, validation, and testing
Ability to identify, define, and translate user and operational needs into functional and interface requirements, and allocate to the appropriate baseline.
Experience with CONOPS development and coordination with acquisition offices and stakeholders.
Briefing and facilitating Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs).
Ability to work collaboratively in team environments with contractor and customer representatives.
Ability to effectively work collaboratively between Enterprise engineering office and associated Acquisition offices (and other stakeholders as required)
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Desired skills/knowledge:

Knowledge of NRO customers mission, strategic goals and intentions
Knowledge of GeoINT Command and Control Systems
Familiarity with GeoINT and/or SIGINT intelligence systems, segments and program offices
Demonstrated project or task management experience
