Description:

The Space & Geospatial Intelligence Business Unit is seeking a Lead Site Systems Administrator to support our customer site located in St. Louis, MO.

The selected candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance. Responsible for performing customer support activities involving the installation, modification and repair of a Windows based Geospatial Intelligence training System. Ability to administer Windows 2003 and Windows XP based systems is essential. Responsibilities include, troubleshooting Active directory, Windows Server, and Windows XP. Prior experience installing and troubleshooting geospatial software a plus (RemoteView, ESRI, ERDAS, etc.). Candidate must also be familiar with troubleshooting various hardware such as network switches, servers, and workstations. Knowledge of network storage arrays and tape backup systems is also a plus. Conducts onsite installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order. Isolates equipment start-up malfunctions and takes corrective action. Trains customer personnel in equipment operation and maintenance responsibilities. Represents the company in a customer support role and is responsible for customer’s satisfaction with equipment and servicing.

Works on complex problems and give diretion to staff. Frequently interacts with customers and/or functional peer group members. Will be responsible for customer satisfication and interaction with senior management. Provide mentor support to Site Systems Administrator and answer general daily questions. Ability to work 6:30am-3:00pm. Occasionally (approximately once a month) individual will be required to move PCs from a maintenance location to a users location, the unassisted lifting of weights of approximately 80 pounds on to a cart or desktop from the floor will be required. Occasional work outside of normal workings hours should be expected.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Microsoft certification preferred and 8+ years related experience required. Ability to lead, manage and supervise projects. Demonstrated skills in Windows 2003 Server and Active Directory preferred. Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work exp (8+) in lieu of degree is acceptable.
TS/SCI clearance is a MUST

DESIRED SKILLS: Familiarity with HP Servers and workstations, network switches, tape backups, BackupExec, and knowledge of Storage Area Networks highly desirable.
