President, InTec, LLC
Nate serves as President, InTec LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned business, supporting customers across the Federal Government with systems engineering and integration, program support, intelligence operations, and training. Throughout his career he has led high performing organizations- both in uniform and in industry. Nate is personally vested in the development of the GEOINT analytic profession through his involvement with USGIF- having served on the Tradecraft and Professional Development Committee, GEOINT Certification Working Group, GEOINT Symposium Planning Committee, Small Business Advisory Working Group, and the NGA Advisory Working Group. He was also a contributor to the USGIF 2015 and 2016 State of GEOINT Reports.
Prior to joining InTec, as Chief Operating Officer, Nate served as the GEOINT Senior Director of Business Development at BAE Systems, Inc., leading cross-market business development activities supporting GEOINT Analysis and Training.
Before BAE, Nate served 19 years with Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. (departing as a Principal). There he led a Geospatial Analytic Services portfolio business at NGA (and its predecessor organizations). He served as the first full time contract instructor for the National Photographic Interpretation Center’s (NPIC) National Imagery Analysis Course (NIAC), instructing sensor phenomenology and the fundamentals of imagery analysis. He also assisted in establishing the first embedded contract imagery analysts supporting NPIC, grew that business, and assisted in the standup of the first analytic tradecraft office (NIMA). Supporting military operations, Nate taught sensor phenomenology and analytic application across the US Combatant Commands, at individual units, the service schoolhouses, and to US Allied nations. Corporately, Nate led firm-wide initiatives addressing Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), frontline leadership, and diversity awareness. He received Booz Allen’s coveted Diversity Award – recognizing both his individual and executive contribution.
Starting his career in the military, Nate served as an Air Force Imagery Intelligence Officer in multiple assignments including as an Air Force Departmental Requirements Officer (DRO), as USCENTCOM’s Imagery Division Chief, during Operation Desert Storm, as an analyst for HQ Air Force Special Programs, and as an imagery analyst and exploitation manager at the 548th Reconnaissance Technical Group at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.
Nate is a USGIF member, a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), a volunteer Special Needs Ministry Leader, and a volunteer Worship Leader.
Born in Southeast D.C., Nate is a true Washingtonian.
