This classified event focuses on NGA’s current challenges and business opportunities and an opportunity for attendees to walk through the building and learn about the work of NGA employees, see their challenges, and talk with them about solutions.

8:30-10:00a NGA: Getting to Data-Driven Analysis in a Data-Rich Environment

Melissa Planert, Director of Analytic Tradecraft and Technology for NGA’s Analysis Directorate, will be accompanied by Analysis and Source analysts who will demonstrate teaming with machines—many of which are built upon capabilities from commercial partners—to solve intelligence problems and create decision space for policymaker and military customers. Examples related to foundational military intelligence, structured observation management, computer vision, activity and data modeling, and activity-based intelligence will demonstrate the value and challenges that remain as the agency shifts analyst efforts to more complex problems.
