Collegiate Accreditation

USGIF’s accreditation of collegiate Geospatial Intelligence Certificate Programs, awards colleges and universities the ability to offer geospatial intelligence certificate programs accompanying a college degree.

Colleges and universities must apply and meet the guidelines and standards in order to have undergraduate and/or graduate programs accredited.

USGIF’s Geospatial Intelligence Certificate Program is the first of its kind. It matches necessary knowledge and skills needed in the professional workforce with the education and training provided to students. The program benefits the students, colleges, universities, industry, government, and the GEOINT Community at large, by ensuring a robust workforce.

If you have questions regarding USGIF accreditation or its guidelines, please contact USGIF Academic Director Dr. R. Maxwell Baber at max.baber@usgif.org.
