Jay Moeder

Jay M. Moeder is the Managing Principal of Moeder6 Consulting LLC and a former Senior Advisor at the National Geospatial‑Intelligence Agency. A Presidential Rank Award and Distinguished Civilian Service Medal recipient, he spent more than 35 years at NGA, serving as a trusted advisor across the Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense, and international mission partners.

Jay’s career includes leadership in GEOINT analysis, operations, tradecraft, security, and enterprise modernization. He guided major initiatives to strengthen analytic integrity, modernize workflows, and address enterprise‑level risk. His work shaped national and commercial satellite architectures, advanced analytic approaches and workflows, and improved GEOINT integration across mission partners.

He previously served as NGA’s first full‑time liaison to Australia and later directed NGA’s support to the Defense Intelligence Agency. Today, he provides strategic GEOINT guidance to national and international partners, helping deliver decision advantage and strengthen mission outcomes.
