Jerry Johnston

Jerry is a managing director in Risk & Financial Advisory’s Strategic Risk practice with more than 20 years of experience leading the design, development, and implementation of numerous IT programs and projects. He is a recognized geospatial technology specialist and thought leader who specializes in developing advanced geospatial technology solutions that assist public-sector customers.

Jerry holds a PhD and an MS in environmental science from Indiana University, where his research was focused on the use of geospatial technology to support regional scale modeling of carbon cycling and ecosystem function in response to future climate change.

He currently serves as a member of the board for Radiant Earth, a not-for-profit organization that enables the use of geospatial data and technology for international development efforts.
