Business Development and Strategy Consultant
Jessica has over 19 years of systems engineering, project management and software product commercialization experience. As a strategic consultant she guides business and corporate development for early stage startups in the Geospatial and New Space markets. Jessica received her B.S. in Systems Engineering from The University of Arizona and Project Management Professional (PMP®) certificate from the Project Management Institute. Notably, she has supported the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and its combatant command stakeholders with the coordination of software deployments across a distributed Library architecture and at multiple security levels. Jessica has led product strategy for commercial product lines, including product development responsibilities for the modernization of geospatial intelligence software to run on cloud-hosted infrastructure. In this role she has advocated for the use and adoption of OGC standards for the transmission of imagery and vector datasets. Jessica is a volunteer leader with Team Rubicon USA – a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises. In this role, she advises on the use of commercial and open source GEOINT data and technologies to provide situational awareness for major responses.
