Sean Wohltman

Sean is the Global Head of Cloud Geography leading a team of engineers who help scientists and engineers in the public and private sectors use Google Earth Engine; Google’s planetary-scale GIS platform.He joined Google in 2008, and has spent his career developing and helping end users use Google’s Geospatial technologies.

Before joining Google, Sean worked as a geospatial analyst and developer at The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. He earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from Virginia Tech in 2004, where he also earned his M.S. in geographic information science in 2005.
