What we’ll be doing:
- Learning how to contribute to OpenStreetMap’s map of the world!
- USGIF YPWG will be providing a 15 minute guided training and will be online+video to answer any questions which come up.
- Improving the availability of quality geospatial data in your locale and other under mapped areas.
- People can contribute to their city (which is likely already mapped decently) or contribute to an OpenStreetMap US project which is increasing foundation GEOINT coverage in Alabama: https://tasks.openstreetmap.us/projects/246
