- What is USGIF?
The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) is the only organization dedicated to promoting the geospatial intelligence tradecraft and building a stronger community of interest across industry, academia, government, professional organizations and individuals.
- What are your hours of operation and where are your headquarters located?
USGIF is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
USGIF is located at 2325 Dulles Corner Boulevard, Suite 450, Herndon, VA 20171.
- What is the GEOINT Symposium?
The annual GEOINT Symposium is the nation’s premier intelligence event. It offers a wealth of quality information, cutting-edge technologies, and top-notch activities that keep attendees coming back year after year. In addition to insightful keynote addresses and though-provoking panels with leaders from the Defense and Intelligence communities, the GEOINT Symposium provides attendees with an unparalleled opportunity to network at various social events and explore new technologies in a 100,000-square-foot exhibit hall.

- What are the GEOINT Tech Days?
Produced by USGIF in cooperation with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Tech Days takes place in the Washington, D.C. area and offers a comprehensive look at the technologies our industry and government partners are developing for the GEOINT Community. NGA offers a classified day at their headquarters, while USGIF offers an unclassified Technology Day in the local area.
This year’s Tech Days will be held from May 19 – 21. Please visit the Tech Days homepage for more information.
- How do I apply for the USGIF Scholarship Program?
Go to the Scholarships tab on our website. Download the applications when they are available and complete this based on the attached directions.
This year’s applications will be due to USGIF by May 1, 2010.

- How do I apply for the USGIF Awards Program?
Visit the Awards Subcommittee tab to download the Awards applications when they are posted and follow the included directions. Once the application is properly filled out, you can mail this to USGIF or email it to awards@usgif.org.

- When does the 2010 Tech Days take place?
The 6th Annual GEOINT Tech Days will take place from May 19 – 21, 2010.
