Ingrid Peterson is a partner in Guidehouse’s Defense and Security Segment. Ingrid has 20+ years in the federal space, including military and consulting experience. She currently focuses on program and project management services with an emphasis on strategy development and change management for executive level clients, ultimately helping them make informed decisions that align to mission and meet customer expectations. Her portfolio includes Navy, Coast Guard, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).

Before joining Guidehouse, Ingrid provided consulting support to assist with development and execution of transformational change initiatives for a Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) effort. Prior to her consulting roles, she served eight years in the United States Navy as a Naval Flight Officer. For Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Two (VQ-2), Ingrid commanded two EP-3 aircraft crews and provided Indications and Warning to U.S. and coalition forces in the global war on terrorism.

Ingrid holds an MBA from The George Washington University and a BS in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified facilitator. She serves on the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association Greater Washington Chapter Board. She currently lives in Washington DC (Capitol Hill) and serves on the Buchanan Park Homeowners Association Board.
