 Ken Campbell re-joined MAXAR in January 2019 to support corporate strategic planning and business development. Between 2006 and 2015, Ken served in executive level positions with DigitalGlobe, GeoEye, and Spatial Data Analytics – all now part of MAXAR. Besides his private sector experience Ken served in senior executive service positions with the Department of the Army, Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (G2) as Director, Counter-Corruption Counter-Threat Finance Intelligence Support Group, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan (2017-2018), and as the Deputy Director, Intelligence, Multi-National Forces Iraq (2009-2010). Additionally, he served as the Senior Intelligence Officer for Strategic Intelligence with the Department of Homeland Security (2003-2004), and as a Supervisory Intelligence Officer with the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Counterterrorism Office (1997-2002). Additionally, Ken served with the U.S. Navy as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer, retiring in 2000 following a 25-year career during which he operated in theaters spanning Europe, the Middle East, Southwest Asia, East Africa, and the Western Pacific. Ken holds a BA in political science from San Francisco State University and an MA in national security affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School. A noted authority on counterterrorism and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons, he authored the book “Weapons of Mass Destruction Terrorism,” has testified before the Senate on Weapons of Mass Destruction Terrorism issues and has provided expert witness testimony in the prosecution of international terrorists.
