Mark serves as the Program Director of the Geospatial Innovation Center (Geosaurus) at the T-REX technical incubator and innovation Center. In this assignment, Mark is responsible for providing programming to elevate the early-stage startup geospatial community to provide economic vitality to the region. His focus areas are to connect the geospatial community, create an environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, and develop talent to support the growing geospatial ecosystem.

Prior to this assignment, he served for over 33 years at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) across numerous Directorates. His last assignment was as the Research and Directorate lead at NGA’s West Campus. While serving NGA, Mark held assignments to St. Louis, Missouri, MacDill, AFB, Fl, and three Middle East locations. Mark holds an MS in Geodetic Science, The Ohio State University, an MA in National Strategic Studies, College of Naval Command and Staff, and an MA in National Security Studies, Air War College.
