Tom Lash

Tom Lash is CEO of ESi/Meadowgate, a National Security company providing innovative mission solutions to the US Intelligence Community. Lash is a senior leader in technology and management supporting the Federal market for nearly 30 years, specializing in innovative Intelligence Systems.

He joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2017 to create and lead the Federal Delivery Organization responsible for contract execution of AWS’ US Federal portfolio. He also led the US National Security account team of more than 125 cleared technology account professionals. Prior to AWS, he was a Senior Vice President at SAIC and later Leidos, a Fortune 500 large systems integrator, where he held several leadership positions including Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for the Intelligence Systems and Defense Groups. Prior to CTO/CSO responsibilities, he led a series of progressively larger P&L portfolios focused predominantly on the US Intelligence Community.

He holds a patent in intelligent database update technology and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on emerging technologies including geospatial intelligence, emerging business models, data analytics, and cloud computing. He has been a mentor in the Department of Defense mentor/protégé program, and an active participate in the YearUp urban empowerment program.

Tom earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia, an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from George Mason University, and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Georgetown University, teaching graduate Cloud Security.
