Building Respect, Inclusion, and Diversity for the GEOINT Enterprise

Next Meeting:

USGIF's Building Respect, Inclusion, and Diversity for the GEOINT Enterprise (BRIDGE) Working Group helps the GEOINT community grow and champion an environment that recognizes diversity as a foundational value. The BRIDGE WG will accomplish this by providing venues for discussion and recommending actions for the community.

Objectives: 
  • To plan and coordinate activities promoting diversity, inclusion, and belonging in the GEOINT community.
  • To identify, recommend, and promote GEOINT community best practices and policies around diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • To serve as an integrator with other USGIF working groups for education and outreach around diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • To offer a forum to celebrate and acknowledge our diverse GEOINT community.

Thursday, Oct. 27 – LtGen Vincent Stewart, USMC (Ret.)

LtGen Vincent Stewart, USMC (Ret.), most recently served as Deputy Commander at United States Cyber Command. He previously served as the 20th Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). LtGen Stewart was the first African American, first Jamaican American, and first Marine to hold the position of Director of DIA.
