Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence Working Group at GEOINT Symposium 2026

Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence

Monday, May 4 | 4:00–5:00 p.m.

Inspired by the working group’s white paper, Guiding AI Act Like an Analyst, this session examines how generative AI can function as a force multiplier for existing analytic workflows — helping analysts filter data, synthesize insights, and reduce administrative burden in defense and intelligence settings.

The discussion will cover advanced prompting techniques including chain-of-thought prompting, few-shot learning, and structured personas, and will explore how these approaches connect today’s manual tradecraft to more agentic systems on the horizon. The working group plans to distribute the white paper during the session.

Panelists: Chris Lauber, Vice President, Defense and Intel Services, Cenith Innovations (Moderator); Tim Klawa, Public Sector Field Engineering Leader, NVIDIA; Mohammed Husain, OpenAI; Megan Moloney, Guidehouse; Mark Munsell, Executive Director, GeoSTL

Working group sessions are open to all registered attendees.
