March 29, 8:30–11:30 AM

11:30 AM–4:00 PM Optional Lunch and Google Earth Engine Training Provided by Google

Free, In-person Event

Join USGIF to hear from and interact with GEOINT community luminaries on the impact of Earth’s evolving climate on national security interests. Climate-driven change to the Earth’s topography and resources impacts virtually all aspects of GEOINT, from mapping, charting, and geodesy to GEOINT analysis, supporting first responders and the military and even planning for our organizations’ infrastructure, environmental impact, and resource consumption. Learn how global sustainability and climate change issues require GEOINT analysis on both a planetary and local scale.

This morning program will include a keynote and a panel discussion about collaboration between government, industry, and academia to detect and quantify changes and map trends. Attendees may then opt to stay on for lunch and an exciting lineup of Google-provided training focused on leveraging the Google Earth Engine to mine a data archive of historical earth images for analysis and visualization of geospatial datasets.

It will be a fun day of learning and networking and a spectacular venue to visit. Registration for these events often reaches capacity quickly, so be sure to register today.

Important Note: Google Offices require all guests to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and a government-issued ID when they arrive.
