COVID-19 Safety Precautions for the GEOINT 2022 Symposium

UPDATED 08 APR 2022

GENERAL INFORMATION

Entrance Policy

All attendees must be age 18 or older. USGIF encourages all attendees to get fully vaccinated* against COVID-19. All event staff, venue employees, and event attendees must comply with the related requirements.

When you collect your badge at registration, please provide one of the following:

  • Proof of vaccination administered more than two weeks prior to first day of attendance OR
  • Proof of a negative test within 48 hours prior to attending the event

USGIF will recognize and accept foreign COVID-19 vaccination or negative test documentation for those traveling from other countries.

* Please refer to the CDC website for the current definition of "fully vaccinated" status.

If you are unable to provide the above proof documentation, you will be asked to visit the nearest COVID-19 testing facility and return with a negative test.

Mask Policy

Based on current CDC guidance, as well as state and local requirements, masks are optional for our vaccinated attendees and recommended for our non-vaccinated attendees and anyone that is high-risk or with existing medical conditions.

Venue Safety Guidelines

The Gaylord Resort & Convention Center and its partners follow strict safety guidelines; you can read about it here https://gaylordhotelsclean.marriott.com/.

Sick Policy

Attendees should not come to GEOINT Symposium events if they feel sick or show symptoms of illness.
